HOW DOES IT WORK? There are:

  • PARTICIPANT Badges that describe what skill you’ve helped with.

    • They are cumulative: the more “Developer” badges you get, the more it shows. Request these badges from other participants.

  • MENTOR Badges that describe how you worked.

    • They are very qualitative: getting a “Problem solver” badge will be very valuable to developers. Request these badges from mentors (sometimes if there are not enough mentors we’ll open it to you!).

  • EQUALITHON TEAM Badges that show your achievements.

    • They show… you’re an achiever. They’re more factual so it’s the Equalithon team that usually gives them. For instance: you are part of the team that won the Equalithon - or you were voted “Best designer”

IMPORTANT:
During the Equalithon, familiarize yourself with people, and what badge you can give to whom.
You’ll be invited to attribute badges to each other every week.

You can request @hugo on Slack to create other badges.
